Dr. John Knapp is a licensed clinical psychologist who offers insight-oriented psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and couples as well as play therapy for children. His first office is located in Wilmette across from the 'el' purple line (Linden Station) where he serves cities of the North Shore including Evanston, Winnetka, Glenview, and Skokie. His second office, located in the heart of Andersonville, serves those from other parts of greater Chicago. Being in two locations, he is easily accessible from Northwestern University and Loyola University.
Clinically, Dr. Knapp provides comprehensive, psychodynamic psychotherapy that is informed by the post-Jungian, psychoanalytic, and phenomenological traditions treating a wide range of concerns:
